I just thought you ould have a laugh -seb-

Hello now back Bifröst staff

thanks for your email and your special request. I am certainly glad that you
are back and I hope, you are not regretting it. Sometimes it is difficult to
return to a place where you had a great time and good memories ... because
now you have expectations and can compare. So, I hope, that all works out
fine for you all.

Yes, I bought a "newer" car .. but with the profit from 2002 ... and with
the only reason to drive Pekka and Suvi around
Iceland ... as such good employees need almost a limo-service ....

Correct, last year Bifröst was voted as the friendliest hotel - and we had
the reward dinner for all the hotels
last Autumn/Winter - around 60 people showed up - and I was cooking a
wonderful Caribbean Dinner and we had a nice evening.
Your dinner is cold in the meanwhile and does not look very appetizing any
longer. Maybe .... if the summer 2004 will be good we can consider a small
treat dinner ... SS-pylsur and coke ... using the tips from Bifröst or
so.... and then we can also celebrate the great performance of the Swiss
National Football Team. It is clear, that the Swiss would have won if the
whole EM would not be so corrupt with all these Southern European Nations
... but honest people like the Swiss have no chance in football.

Good to have you back, hopefully in good mood and spirit. If you are ALL
still there when closing the hotel, I will come
personally up to Bifröst with a cold beer for each of you and IF you are
ready to tell me the complete summer gossip.

I will be travelling around Iceland from the 14-24 July, staying at
Fosshotel and checking how business is doing ....
doing then a short trip to the Faroe Islands and checking out the foggy
neighbours in the east and see, if there would
be a hotel for rent, so Fosshotel could be an international hotel chain:
Iceland & Faroe Islands.

Take care and a big smile from the "big" (fat) boss

Yeah hello Bifröst 2003 :D:D:D
Well it is nice to see that everybody is doing good :D
Here in Bifröst (last summer nota bene) it is gooooood. Parties are a matter of life and death:D And the n-irish and swedish are probably the biggest party lions :D
The constuction guys that where at first behaving like 8 year old boys are turning out alright.
I don´t think I have watched so much big screen videos in one summer.
There are no lovestories yet (even everybody is waiting for the union of finland and france, they deny ;) )
It is a good goodbye to Hotel Bifröst

Ciao bellas y bellos

God dag fra bergen...where it is raining like hell

So I arrive yesterday evening, after 2 days spent in bus and train. The city is a colourful city, even though I havent seen the sun yet. The Hostel is a factory and I am living a few meters from it, in a 4 stories building.
I am starting my work tomorrow.Cleaning the first week.
My co workers are mainly from America and most of them look all right, but I didnt get the same welcome I got when I first arrived in Iceland. But there is a weird atmosphere here : and no staff room to connect as well.
We will see how it is any way. First impressions can be tricky.
Bergen is as well a VERY touristic town, and the hostel is located right is the center of the center.A few meters away also from the tourist office.

But my month off was amazing, with a very happy ending in Tromso.

Seb

PS: So pekka I guess you have a second view or something if you were sure something will happen...and GOD ! Best days for a long time...:)
Sun is still shining..even Seb went away..
It's my sixth day in work and I feel I really need some holiday. Just a minute ago there were two men with motorcykles asking how can they drive 300 km in 2 hours without getting a speeding ticket..Well, you just..HOW CAN YOU answer to these questions???Yes, I definately need a holiday. Oh yes, I was really bored two days ago so I accidentally read Dan Brown's Angels and Demons..I felt really pathetic after finishing the book in two days..where is my life??But the book was really GOOD!
Okay, now my brain is slowly melting, "see" you later..

I have to step back to train tonight..Visit to Lapland was short but nice..Now I gotta go back home and get back to work.Life can be a bitch sometimes.Night in a train and straight to work..

We had a good football tournament yesterday, but now I'm totally beaten..My muscles are dead and tearing me apart..And it doesn't help me that tomorrow will be even worse.

Summer is nice and beautiful. That's what matters anyway!

Oh yes, and I lost my cellphone yesterday=(

Wasn't the first time and I seriously doubt it was the last..=)

Hello crowd !

I am now in Great finland, where sun has been shining all along.

Our dear and favorite finish couple are still my favourite one. Pekka looked like shit when I first saw him -the poor guy is working too much, a couple of years more and he will start to turn yellow and speak chinese fluently- and suvi looks fine, even though she is working out of town which means that I just saw her two days.
We went canoeing on lathi´s biggest lake, and went to the harbour quite a few time for our evening beer and coffee.
And God i was surprise because of how many overweighted girls you can find here !
On thursday I go with pekka and his friends to his native town for a football contest ( just a pretext to get wasted I guess -must be a finnish tradition ).

And how are you all ? Are you dead Emil and Marie or what ?

Txao txao,
