You will never guess what I did last weekend, except those of you who already know ;o) A few weeks ago Atli (Drifas brother) called me and told me he was going to Finland to visit Drifa and asked me if I wanted to go with him and of course I said YES :) So last weekend I was in Finland. We didn't tell anyone that I was going so it was a total surprise to Drifa. It was great to see the look on her face, she really hadn't suspected anything, she kept saying "You are kidding me! You are kidding me!" Honey I hope you will forgive me someday ;o) It was a bit cold in Helsinki, the first snow and everything.... Of Course I thought I was going to Hawaii and brought only my summer dresses with me :p noooo I'm not that stupid but it was much colder than I thought it would be. Helsinki is a beautiful city and very Christmasy (is that a word???) We walked and walked and I think I've seen everything there is to see in Helsinki, even met Pekka and Suvi (planed of course) Great weekend and thank you again Drifa for letting me sleep in your bed :*

December the 11th is drawing near..As u might have noticed, I wish u have, there is always something very significant and shocking happening on the date 11th. Things that change the world permanently. The things that stick to peoples minds and leave ever-lasting effect behind. U might have heard of September the 11th, when those planes crashed the twin towers in NY. March the 11th in Madrid. Anna Lindh was stabbed mortally the October 11th. The latest consequence and victim of this theory was Palestinian leader Jasser Arafat,rest in peace, who co-incidentally died November the 11th..God bless him and his soul.

So it's better to be up for the challenge and be ready for the December the 11th. Co-incidentally, that's MY BIRTHDAY (u can just forget Seb in this case). This day, anyway, is not going to be one of those days among the others, it's gonna make difference..It's going to leave unforgettable mark behind. Where have everybody gone?? Nothing s happened here for a long time now. Shame on y all!
Anyway, we ve finished our report now, and tomorrow we re gonna present it, which means that Thursday night will be a night of celebration... except of course that I ll need to go to school the day after to take two tests.
Anyway, if you wanna read our report on Weissbier, (you can also have the one on Moroccan food, if you d like) you can ask nicely for it and I ll send you a copy forthwith.
Tomorrow night s gonna be great, of course, and I personally even sweet talked (believe it those who may) a nice young female in a company that imports beer to let us have some Weissbier for free! (but you can t have any of that)

Anyway, while I m trying to do some important homework here, I finally decided that the time had come to let you all know that I ll be going to Iceland to work for the next three years or so. This weekend, I got a written confirmation that I ll be starting work at Perlan around New Year s when school will be over, (can t wait for that to happen) and so now I can start milking the Danish government for travel aid and much more.
For now, I ve got this idiotic class to attend to, and these homework don t do themselves either, sadly. I ll get you some more useful phone numbers next time round when I have more time. Till then, may you never have potato bugs in your garden and never accidentally drink milk that is too old.
P.S. can it really be that the Americans have voted for that idiot Bush again???

I was watching the news last night and it appeared that there is a volcanic eruption or somethin going on in Iceland. It looked really impressive on TV.

Maybe Vatnajökull is simply exhibiting its anger at those disgraceful americans who are once again proving for the civilized and democratic world(where U.S.A. obviously doesn't include) how god damn stupid human beings can actually be.

I must admit I am also on the verge of erupting..By now I am only shaking and steaming..So I am almost controlling myself.
