Bifröst 2003

No socks, no sex and NO SHEEP!

Wednesday, March 31, 2004

Hey everyone just thought i would put in my two cents worth for this week. Emil i still have not got them socks and even though i am on the other side of the world to you i do not think it takes that long for the post to get here from up there. And i am in desperate need of them now as winter is quickly approaching and my feet are getting colder and colder so i do really need a pair to wear here. Yes and i am too much of a tight bast*** to go out and buy a pair of my own....at present i am wearing a pair of old ones....you know the kind....holes in the toes and the bottom sole wearing very very thin!!! Anyway not much happening down this end of the world recently really.....i fell of a roof the other day...only 3 metres but i managed to smack my head, break my wrist which was f****g sore and now it is a real long pain in the ass having to type this as i can only use one hand.....but at least there is one good side to it. I get to stay on reception all the time now at this place i am working in.....no more cleaning out the bogs for me for a while. Luvin it!!! Except for the broken wrist that is. Is also a good topic of conversation having ones wrist in plaster( and yes i have heard all the jokes before you start on them...) . I make up all kinds of reasons and people actually believe them!! Idiots!!! Anyway that is about it for now.....just one last thing...where have the Finnish got to...have not heard from them for a long long time!!!

will everybody please just stop forwarding those idiot mails to me...!
Besides from the fact that they're NOT shutting down HotMail, it's really annoying to get three new E-mails only to find out that it's crap like that. Now cut it out, please!

Happpy Happy Birthday Saga!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monday, March 15, 2004

Okay guys i am not going to go into great detail about what i am doing this avo...suffice to say i am going to throw myself off another thing suspended over a river and hopefully come back up at the end of it all. Fingers crossed. It is not a bungy just a giant swing over a canyon 109 metres up....apparently it is pretty scary...heard comments like " even my shit was scared".....and anyway even if it does not scare me at least for a minute i will be able to forget about Emils socks and sheep...as for the other thing....i got plenty to think about. Later guys ....and girls!!
Brian
Well Brian, (I m just guessing that was you there with the tenth comment) I can tell you a lot about my socks and how sweaty they are after a challenging day on the job, sitting on my ass and getting tipped 13.000 kroners (!!!) by American tourists.
In fact, instead of telling you that I got in to that cooking school (Hotel- & Restaurantskolen) that I applied to, and how happy I am about it, I think I m just gonna talks about these socks of mine… So here we go:
They re a pair of grey Adidas socks that I bought at the local Bónus store. They come in packs of three and cost 999 kroners pr. pack. I bought two packs, but travelling down the highway of life, I lost one pair on the way. I usually wash them here at the hotel, where I do all my laundry, and usually they re washed at 60 degrees Celsius. I do that because I ve been struggling with this athlete’s foot problem of late, and this I read pamphlet said to wash my socks at at least 60 degrees to make sure they were properly fungi-free.
I m still wearing the sandals I bought last summer, but it doesn t really help that much, so I m just guessing that I must be so thin, because I burn so much energy and get rid of the excess heat through my feet.
There s nothing more I can really do about it, but it doesn t mean that I m not happy about my socks. In fact, I love them very much. Anyway, you want a pair, just let me know and I ll send you a (clean) pair, free of charge.

Well, I ve got some bad news for everybody.

Especially for Marie and Gulli, who like to call me up whenever they re drunk, it ll probably hurt a great to deal to learn that my phone was stolen.
It s more than a month ago now, and I haven t heard anything from the Police, so the f****** bastard, who stole it, probably threw it away, when he realised he didn t have a charger for it.

Besides from all the numbers I ve lost, (and some of them were yours) I ve also lost my own, which means that for the last month I ve probably missed out on one or two lame jokes in Danish, that Gulli likes to send.
Unlike people who send E-mails or postcards, that man has extraordinarily weird methods of communicating.
My new number is (354)6633190 in case you wanna know.

I was lucky enough to find a used phone that went out of production sometime in the year 2000 that I bought as a replacement.
It s got the tiniest little black and white display, no MMS, no polyphonic ring tones, no camera and no idiotic extra functions like the ability to synchronize with portable computers, faxes or refrigerators. I absolutely love it!

I actually bought it in Denmark when I was there a couple of weeks ago, which was nice, and shortly before then I got a new apartment that I like very much.
But that kinda thing probably hasn t got your interest.
(Whereas you probably think about my phone every day)

Also, when I was out, I applied to a school in Copenhagen, to get started on becoming a cook or a chef or whatever. With a little luck, I ll start school in July, so I probably won t be going to Bifröst this year. Sorry.
And by the way, Suvi, I actually made a big effort not to be a totally drunk ass at Bifröst. Besides from being offended, (and yet, mysteriously enough, a bit proud of myself) I think I actually only misstepped myself when I tried to keep up with Pekka. The real problem is that he drinks much, much more than I do.

Okay, I just figured out one thing..There's actually comments after the text/post..I have always checked just the "normal post" and I didn't know about COMMENTS! I thought it was kind of strange that nobody made any comments..Sorry guys..stupid me..
What else..Last week we were in St Petersburg with Pekka and my mom. We had great time and everything was so cheap! I bought 20 cds because they were in record store only 3 euros each (it's around 250 in icelandic money..is it crowns in english??!!!!!) And they were real, no copies..Drifa, we found also Bo Kaspers newest!!I still haven't had a chance to listen them all. And Emil..vodka was very cheap 5 euros per litre..We could all make a reunion meeting in Russia! Great, that's a deal.
Well, othervise no work for summer so still looking..Hope to find something=) See you all later, need to go now..
Love Suvi
