. . just taking a break from reading Boris Pasternak s Doktor Zhivago - it is very good. .
Nothing catastrofic has happen . . recently came back from Italy, skiing. . it was fantastic! L.O.V.E.D. I.T.! Beautiful mountains and cute wooden houses. (by the way.. Marie, I never went to Austria) Pretty boring coming back to school. . Now we have A LOT to do, in a few weeks the "final exams" (which are suppose to be HELL!.. I have heard stories of people actually suicidal in this shit) start! Believe this, I will take TWO physicsexams and THREE mathexams (including an ORAL mathtest! what s up with that!?) All in all 12-13 exams...BORING!. . Before we do that it is tradition to put on costume, go around town and be REALLY drunk (of course).. We have decided to dress up as Uma Thurman in "Kill Bill". . the yellow thing. Yes, we will see how that goes. . .
I still haven t found job for next summer.. I doubt I will go back to Fosshotel and I don t really want to work the whole summer at the reataurant I am working now. . we will see . .

Hi everyone !
I heard the strangest thing in the radio this morning. There was a woman who sent in a letter and asked for help because she was having a bit of a "situation". Anyway the letter started like this: "I have I problem, I am in love with my ex-step-son !" apparently she had been married but was now divorced, her ex husband had a son who she had became a mother to ! The boy was 5 when she and his father married and was 21 when they divorced, he had lived at their home all that time. She had done everything what a mother should do, read to him, hugged him...........she was basically his mother. But then they divorced. Now the boy is about 25 years old. One night a few weeks ago she was having a "girls night out" and she met the boy !!!!! She realized she was in love with him ! and thing started to happen ! Now they are a couple, and they are so much in love, they want to spend every minute together.............. HOW SICK IS THAT ! She is 56 and he is 25 !!! COME ON ! You would probably believe this would happen in America but NOT in Iceland ! SICK !!!!!

I always knew you would make it back to Iceland this summer...but to Bifrost i was not so sure...i am thinking that yes you must be a secret member of the Bifro mafia...was there not any other options or did Renato give you a special bonus to endure another summer in Bifrost???? Anyway as you probably realise i will not be making it back to Iceland this summer. You can celebrate when you finish reading this....even though i thought you guys were the best to work with..(.and argue with!!!)This partly due to the expense of flying there....right now i can maybe make it to Thailand or Hawaii...but no farther. And the other reason is that ...well i am just having too good a time cruising around down here in the south of the South Island. I was in the top of the island but then a job opportunity came up down here in Queenstown ( the adventure capital of NZ )where i am just now and so i shot down , had the interview and now am just waiting to see if i have it or not. It is not in a hotel but a backpackers hostel doing reception and cleaning...in a lot more relaxed and friendly atmosphere than 5 star hotels. In the meantime i have been tramping around...i did one of our Great Walks last week....called the Kepler...that involved tramping through forests,across alpine ridge tops and by lakes...it was f*****g beautiful...despite when crossing the ridges it was nearly blowing a gale and starting to piss down. The rest of the days were great weather wise though ...as it is right now. Well we are still in summer here!!! And well if i do not get this job i will just hit the trails again for a while...then seriously think about finding some work down here.

Guess what ? I will be back to bifrost this summer ( i must be crazy ) !
I have been quite F... depressed lately. Brian you probably know what i mean...its hard to come back to a sedentary life but i have to hold on, even if its not easy everyday...
My money is melting like snow below the sun and i really start to need changes in my life.
But well, should better in few weeks...february is not my favourite month...

I learned something last night !
it is not possible for guys to have "just one beer". If they tell you that they are, they are NOT telling the truth ! My friend called me last night and asked if I would go with him and some of our friends to play pool, they were just going to have "one beer" but needed a driver because they didn't want to drink and drive. I was like SURE, NO PROBLEM, IT'S GOING TO BE FUN ! In short I came home 4:00 am ! It was really fun BUT IT WAS 4:00 am ! It's a bit late for me (and Drifa you should know I NEED MY SLEEP) when you need to work in the morning !
So girls (those of you who don't know) THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "ONE BEER"
