No socks, no sex and NO SHEEP!

Monday, March 15, 2004

Well Brian, (I m just guessing that was you there with the tenth comment) I can tell you a lot about my socks and how sweaty they are after a challenging day on the job, sitting on my ass and getting tipped 13.000 kroners (!!!) by American tourists.
In fact, instead of telling you that I got in to that cooking school (Hotel- & Restaurantskolen) that I applied to, and how happy I am about it, I think I m just gonna talks about these socks of mine… So here we go:
They re a pair of grey Adidas socks that I bought at the local Bónus store. They come in packs of three and cost 999 kroners pr. pack. I bought two packs, but travelling down the highway of life, I lost one pair on the way. I usually wash them here at the hotel, where I do all my laundry, and usually they re washed at 60 degrees Celsius. I do that because I ve been struggling with this athlete’s foot problem of late, and this I read pamphlet said to wash my socks at at least 60 degrees to make sure they were properly fungi-free.
I m still wearing the sandals I bought last summer, but it doesn t really help that much, so I m just guessing that I must be so thin, because I burn so much energy and get rid of the excess heat through my feet.
There s nothing more I can really do about it, but it doesn t mean that I m not happy about my socks. In fact, I love them very much. Anyway, you want a pair, just let me know and I ll send you a (clean) pair, free of charge.
Emil
